Charlie Sheen announced to the world on Tuesday morning that he is, in fact, HIV-positive and now his (third) ex-wife Brooke Mueller has spoken out on the issue for the first time.

I'M HIV POSITIVE: Charlie Sheen Tells His Truth

Mueller, who was married to the 50-year-old actor from May 2008 until November 2010, released a statement to TMZ in which she briefly discusses her own health and that of her twin sons Bob and Max.

“Brooke has been inundated with calls from friends and family. To put their minds at ease, Brooke can confirm that she and the boys are not HIV positive."

The six-year-old boys have been at the center of custody drama since 2011 when police removed them from Brooke and Charlie's care.

At one point, Denise Richards - Charlie's second wife - had temporary custody of the boys in addition to the two daughters she and Sheen share.

As of this past December, Brooke and Charlie settled the issue with Mueller retaining full custody and Sheen agreeing to monitored visits.

Below you can check out part two and meet the actor's doctor, who has apparently been by his side the whole way.
