Chris Brown Wins Joint Custody in Bitter Battle with Baby Mama

Chris Brown just scored a huge victory in his contentious custody battle for daughter Royalty with his baby mama Nia Guzman.

A Houston judge just awarded the R&B singer 50/50 physical custody, as he and Guzman will switch off every four days, reported TMZ. The former model was asking to deny Brown any custody and only allow supervised visitation.

In another win for Brown, the judge also kept Guzman's child support at $2500 a month. She had wanted it upped to $15,000 a month.

Earlier on Friday, the judge turned down Guzman's request that the trial be moved from Texas to California where she now lives.

According to the site, the judge indicated the case would stay put since she lived in Houston when the case was filed.

While TMZ initally claimed Brown was a no-show this morning, the "Loyal" singer later shared a snap standing with his legal team with the note: "I've been in the court for the last 2 hours. #ILOVE ROYALTY."

Chris and Nia hooked up in 2013 when he was still with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran. While Nia gave birth to Royalty in June 2014, it wasn't revealed that Chris was the father until March of this year.
