Chris Rock Denies Adopting 7-Year-Old Girl Who Lived With His Family

By Johnny Lopez

Sherri Shepherd isn't the only celebrity denying a child as one of their own.

Chris Rock is now caught up in an international custody battle over a seven-year-old South African girl that has lived with the comedian and his family nearly since birth, whom they never legally adopted.

In 2008, the 50-year-old star and his estranged wife Malaak Compton Rock somehow took in six-month-old Ntombi.

Ntombi's biological parents are reportedly unemployed and living in South Africa.

Chris and Malaak raised the precious little one alongside their two biolgical daughters, 13-year-old Lola and 11-year-old Zahara, at their luxurious home in New Jersey.

The group attended various public events throughout the years looking like one big happy family.

Things took a weird turn once the couple filed for divorce in 2014 after 19 years of marriage. Within weeks of the split, South African officials began an investigation as to how exactly Ntombi wound up with the Rocks.

Since the demise of his marriage, Chris has maintained a relationship with his two daughters but has not had any contact with Ntombi, according to TMZ.

The website's sources claim that Chris never signed any legal adoption documents and that Malaak was responsible for bringing Ntombi over to the United States.

A rep for the Top Five star told TMZ that Rock does not have an adopted child. Dayum!

This will not end well. Stay tuned.
