David Bowie Leaves Wife Iman Half of His $100 Million Fortune

Three weeks after he passed away at the age of 69, the details of David Bowie's will have been revealed.

And as you would expect from the loving father and husband, the music icon has left the majority of his $100 million fortune to his wife of 24 years, Iman, and his two children.

According to the NY Post, Iman inherited roughly $50 million and the couple's downtown NYC apartment.

The other half of his estate will be split evenly between Bowie's two children, 15-year-old daughter, Alexandria, and his 44-year-old son from a previous relationship, Duncan Jones.  Upon her 25th birthday, Alexandria will also get the family's country home in Upstate New York.

David also made sure to care for his beloved employees and bequeathed $2 million to his former personal assistant and $1 million to his son's former nannny.

In lieu of a funeral, the art rocker requested that he be cremated and his ashes scattered over Bali "in accordance with Buddhist rituals."

After a private battle with cancer, David died on January 10. 

His latest album, Blackstar, was released two days prior to his death and went on to become his first number one album in the U.S.
