It's been 23 days since Hayden Panettiere entered a treatment facility to battle her postpartum depression and we've gotten an update on her condition from one of her Nashville costars.

I'M OK: Halle Berry Breaks Her Silence Post-Divorce

Riley Smith, who plays Markus Keen on the current season of ABC's love letter to country music, told Us Weekly - on the red carpet at the 2015 Country Music Awards - that he'd recently texted Hayden and heard good things.

"I texted her, and wished her well. She texted me right back and said, 'I'm awesome, thanks.' So hopefully she will be back on the set soon."

It's been reported that Hayden's character, Juliette Barnes, will be MIA from the show as the actress takes time off of work to recover.

Panettiere gave birth to her daughter Kaya in December and revealed on an episode of LIVE with Kelly and Michael that she related to her character's battle with the same disease.

"I can very much relate. It's something a lot of women experience. When [you are told] about postpartum depression, you think it's 'I feel negative feelings towards my child; I want to injure or hurt my child.' I've never, ever had those feelings. Some women do," she explained. "But you don't realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on. It's something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they're not alone, and that it does heal."
