The Girls Next Door kept the drama behind closed doors when they were shooting their reality show at the Playboy Mansion. Now, it's all finally coming out ten years later. Hugh Hefner's former girlfriends Holly, Bridget, and Kendra seemed to get along well enough when cameras were rolling, but the truth seems to be a much different story.
From a cat fight between Kendra Wilkenson to an on-air reconciliation between Kendra and Bridget Marquardt, it seems these former Playboy bunnies are in the news every day lately.
What caused all of this controversy? Holly Madison is telling all about High Hefner and criticizing him in her new book The Vegas Diaries.
She says that being in a relationship with Hef was difficult. E! News quoted the former playmate's book, which reads, "If Hef truly was confused as to why I left and forgot there was any fighting, he either had the world's most selective memory or thought talking down to his girlfriends and making them cry on a regular basis was normal."
I mean... no offense Holly, but when you sign on for an open relationship with an 80-year old man who runs an empire all about naked women, what exactly were you expecting??
She says Hef knew very little about the women he was dating. "He knew roughly four things about each girl. Her name, her age, where (approximately) she was from, and how well she behaved and followed the rules."
Holly was the "favorite" during her time at the mansion, and she shed some light on what exactly that meant. "There was some pretty clear favoritism going on—not everyone got a lavish trip for their birthday. One of the girlfriends, Vicky, eventually pointed out to me that he liked to play favorites to keep everyone on their toes…How else could he stay in control of seven women? It prevented us from banding together and staging a coup. He needed to somehow maintain the upper hand."
We can't wait to hear what Hef has to say in response to all of this!
