By Johnny Lopez

Comedian Keegan-Michael Key has filed for divorce from his wife of 17 years, Cynthia Blaise.

According to People, the Key & Peele star filed documents to dissolve the marriage on December 31 but actually separated back in November.

Keegan cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and asked to delay coming to any terms for spousal support for the time being.

The 44-year-old married the Hollywood dialect coach in December 1998. They have no children.
