Robert Pattinson and fiancée FKA Twigs are a match made in hipster heaven.
Unfortunately, some basic beyatches on the Internet got their panties all up in a wad when the Twilight star first hooked up with the talented English singer.
After getting beseiged with racist comments about his main squeeze, the 29-year-old hunk is now lashing out at all the haters in a new interview.
"I was talking to my dad about this and I bet him that if he looked up Nelson Mandela’s funeral on YouTube, the first comment would be a racist one," he told music publication NME. "And it was, with like a million upvotes. What I don’t get is why. I think it’s because most normal people are not commenters – I’ve never met anyone who’s left a comment on anything. It’s just demons who live in basements. You have this weird thing where you end up trying to fight against this faceless blob, where the more you hate it, the bigger it gets, because it’s all in your head.”
Besides discussing the barrage of despicable garbage getting thrown at the couple, the English actor was all about praising FKA - whose real name is Tahlia Debrett Barnett - by referring to her as "just an amazing, amazing artist."
RPatz & FTwig first got together in 2014 after being introduced by mutual friend Florence Welch. #IndieGoals
Prior to FKA, Robert was with his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart for four years. After the actress was scandalously caught cheating with her Snow White and the Hunstman directer, Rupert Sanders, the tween icons split in 2012. Shame!
But luckily the world's favorite vampire lover was able to move on and found love with the eclectic songstress.
Since the duo are normally very private about their relationship, it's no shocker that Pattinson and Twigs have not revealed their wedding date.
