Sandra Bullock has added to her family again, this time in the form of a 3 1/2 year-old girl named Laila.

After months of speculation that she had adopted again, the Oscar-winner is finally (and officially) announcing the news on the cover of People's December 14th issue.

In the interview, it's revealed that Bullock, 51, had been fostering the adorable little girl from Louisiana before deciding to adopt.

“When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here,” admits Sandra.

FUN FACT: Sandra's boyfriend Bryan Randall took the family photos featured throughout the interview.

You'll remember that the Practical Magic star welcomed her first child, five-year-old Louis, into her family back in 2010. That announcement came at nearly the same time her marriage to the scandal-plagued Jessie James came to an end.

"I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time,” Bullock adds before giving credit to her son for getting the ball rolling. “Louis spearheaded this whole journey."

That journey, in spite of beginning three years ago, hasn't been all smooth sailing, though.

“I knew [Laila] was scared, and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren’t going anywhere,” she says of her daughter, who has brought “pink and glitter in the house mixed with Legos and Batmans.”

You can read the full story, and get a better look at the newly formed trio, when the issue of People hits newsstands Friday.
