'I'm Not Pregnant!' Tia Mowry Slams Trolls Who Mocked Her Weight Gain

Tia Mowry is lashing out against all the body shamers who critiqued her recent weight gain.

The former child star took Twitter trolls to task after some even speculated her expanding waistline meant she must be having a baby.

"I am not pregnant, I am just happy,” the 37-year-old told HuffPost Live. “I’ve gained these extra 10 or 15 pounds because of my cooking show…I’m just enjoying life, and when I want to drop the pounds, I will, but right now, I’m happy with who I am.”



The Rosewood actress is also the host of the Cooking Channel series Tia Mowry at Home.

"We need to be more supportive with body images, especially with women, showing that all sizes are beautiful," she said passionately. "And I’m talking about in magazines, advertisement[s] in regard to what’s sexy and what’s not sexy. We all need to be a little more supportive of each other. I think if we start there, we’ll see a difference.”

Besides her busy televison career, Tia is also mother to a four-year-old son with husband Cory Hardict.

The couple - who met at a bus stop - were married in 2008.
