And because she's very publicly battling lyme disease in the midst of all that mess, it only makes sense that Andy Cohen jumped at the opportunity to chat her up during this Tuesday's edition of Watch What Happens Live.

"You know, we had a beautiful love story that I will treasure forever," responded the reality star when asked about her split from music heavy hitter David Foster. "Unfortunately, it was not strong enough to withstand the turbulent circumstances that came our way. That's really the story."

"Chronic long-term illness is extremely challenging," Yolanda also admits during the interview. "Not only for the sick person, but also for the caregiver. It for sure changed the dynamic of our relationship."

#ICYMI: David and Yolanda announced their split on December 1st in a statement released to People magazine. They were together for nine years prior to that moment and have no children together.
